This is for you DJs that were lucky enough to get one of these small duffle bags while at Mobile Beat this year. Here’s a great use for it. This is a shot of it full of 4 – Eternal Lighting 3w flat par pro uplights, with power cords and DMX cables. It won’t quite zip up but still works great.

There are so many articles about how much to spend on a DJ. I’m going on the record to tell you that every single one of them is WRONG. I’ve seen article say that you can DJ the wedding yourself. You certainly can! You can also go to Wal-Mart and buy a dental kit to do your own fillings.
Our market here is very diverse. I see DJs are high as $2,000 but mostly as low as $350. That figure scares me… not just as a DJ, business-man, someone that went through wedding planning for his own wedding… but mostly as a family man. How can someone charge $350 and make a living?

0Most couples are looking to plan a fun and memorable wedding reception that all will enjoy. Here at Ennis Wedding and Party DJs we would like to give you a few tips to make it a success.
Have your reception on a Saturday afternoon. It’s not set in stone that you have to have it on a Saturday, but if you want as many people as possible to come out and have fun with you then Saturday is your day. Most people don’t have to get up for work the next day and they are not too tired from working all day.
